Markets News Afternoon: US service activity grew in April for the fourth consecutive month; US private sector added 32,000 jobs in April

Markets news on stocks, currencies and oil; US economic activity in the service/ non-manufacturing sector grew in April for the fourth consecutive month, say the nation’s purchasing and supply executives in the latest Non-Manufacturing ISM Report On Business. According to today’s ADP National Employment Report, US private sector employment increased by 32,000 from March to April on a seasonally adjusted basis.
