New orders for US manufactured durable goods – - items expected to last at least three years – in February increased $0.9 billion or 0.5 per cent to $178.1billion, the US Census Bureau announced today. This was the third consecutive monthly increase and followed 3.9 per cent January increase. New home sales fell in February.
