Loans
Unless you are one of a tiny minority of very wealth people, you will in the course of your life need a loan of money.
Life events create the need for loans. These can range from your typical first loan which is a student loan to finance your way through college, to buying a car and onto to the most common one in Ireland, a mortgage for your home. The latter is typically the largest loan a person will take out in their lives, certainly on a personal level.
Borrowing for business is where the largest loan and finance activity occurs in Ireland and elsewhere. The demand for loans in this category can range from the one person self -employed person requiring a few thousand through to the large company needing millions to fund it’s operations.
In this section we look at the various types of loans available from credit institutions in Ireland.
