DEPOSIT INTEREST RATES – November 26th 2010

These are the best available interest rates on Easy Access Deposit accounts in Ireland as of above date:

Irish Nationwide: 3.25% min €1 max €20k

Anglo Irish Bank: 3.1% – 0n balances from €1 up to 100,000

Nationwide UK (Ireland ): 3% (Min 2k€ Max 2m)

An Post 30 Day Notice Account: 3%

NIB 3% E-saver Account: Min €1 Max€50k. Withdrawals are allowed but when you make a withdrawal the interest rate drops to 1% for that month.

AIB Deposit 7: 3 % on all balances up to EUR10,000 (7 days notice required)

Ulster Bank Pathway Account: 3.1% Gross for first 6 months then 2.1% AER . Min €15k. Av = 2.6% Over 12 months

Northern Rock Ireland: 2.5% – online only min 1000 euro ; no maximum.

RaboDirect: 2% (online only) on amounts up to 1million euro
